Hike
One of the best ways to see this place and truly appreciate it is to slow down take a walk in the woods. The Cranberry Wilderness and Monongahela National Forest are home to so many incredible landscapes, plants, and animals. While there are miles and miles of trails worth walking, we have picked out a few of our favorites and shared them below.
High Rocks
This mostly flat trail(only a few steep sections) takes you to an incredible 180 degree view of the Stamping Creek watershed. It is a must-see!

Falls of Hills Creek
This short but steep hike includes 3 waterfalls, a 25-foot, 45-foot, and 63-foot! It is absolutely worth it and is beautiful year-round but can become slick in winter or if it has recently rained.

Cranberry Mountain Nature Center Interpretive Trails (starts in the parking lot of the Cranberry Mountain Nature Center)
There are two loops that meander through the forest on top of Cranberry Mountain. There are several informational signs for your academic pleasure as well as picnic tables and a small overlook with benches!
Length - 0.5 miles to do both loops, roundtrip
